About
We are a community of believers with open hearts and open minds.
We welcome diverse voices, views, and experiences. We are a Reconciling Church within the United Methodist Church and everyone is welcome regardless of race, nationality, sexual orientation, status or background.
We celebrate unity in the midst of diversity locally, regionally, and globally.
We welcome inclusive images and language to express the Divine.
We are committed to passion in Jesus Christ, and compassion for all.
We are motivated by God’s love for us to extend that love to others.
We provide a healthy space for our Boulder Creek community to grow and serve.
We are connected to the California/Nevada Conference of The United Methodist Church.
We are part of the El Camino Real District. You can find additional information about the district here: https://www.cnumc.org/elcaminorealdistrict.
We are part of the California/Nevada Conference. The Conference vision is “Following Jesus, Thriving in Community, Healing the World.” You can learn more about our Annual Conference here: https://www.cnumc.org/. Our Bishop is Bishop Sandra K. Olewine.
Our Conference is part of the Western Jurisdiction, which is made up of eight annual conferences serving churches in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, British Columbia, Guam, and other territory in the Pacific region. The Western Jurisdiction’s theme is “Love Without Limits: Creating a fully-inclusive United Methodist Church.” You can learn more about our jurisdiction here: https://westernjurisdictionumc.org/.
The denomination has the mission “To make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the world.” The local church is the place where that can happen. It begins with worship, and then we work to become disciples, and later lead others to do so, too. The vision from our Council of Bishops is to Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, and Lead Courageously.
